Message Guys

I posted how I put everything together last week, Here

I got a chance to take the car to the local 1/8th mile track last night. While I await my Massive IC's from Ash, and a secondary fuel pump, I decided I still wanted to benchmark the car. I added a little racegas to the car but maintained the base 850cc injector, doolz pump gas tune. I was also running my normal "low" boost of 20psi. There was a bit of spiking due to the manual BC I was running as well.

The car held up surprisingly well and I was impressed with its performance for being the first time out.

My previous best 1/4 mile times for last year was 11.57@118 and an 11.57@121.

I started the night out running several 7.7's@93mph running ~16psi or so, until the racegas got cycled through. After I noticed it was going 10.0/1 AF i turned up the boost.

To my surprise I clicked off a 7.3@100mph with a 1.6 60 foot. I got a chance to run several more passes and ended the night running a 7.2@99mph with a 1.57 60ft. I left the timeslips in the car but I 'll upload them to my website tomorrow.

Here are a few vids.....

FWIW, im not trying to start benchracing but several references I have looked at indicate that a 7.2 1/8th mile converts into an ~11.0 One of my good friends also was running 11.0@127 with a 7.2@102 in the 1/8th.

The above information does get me a little excited, knowing that I still can bolt on ~30-40rwhp with the intercoolers and I have alot of power to extract out of race gas tuning (added boost+timing) I think im definately still on track for my 10 second slip :)

DO IT!
